Pricing at Brilliant Hearing

Transparent, Independent Pricing

At Brilliant Hearing, we believe in honest, transparent pricing. As an independently owned clinic with no ties to any manufacturer, we are able to offer competitive pricing without the overhead costs associated with chain retailers. Every quote we provide is based on your specific hearing needs, not a sales target.

What’s Included in Your Care

When you choose Brilliant Hearing, your investment covers more than just a device:

  • Comprehensive Hearing Assessment — A full diagnostic evaluation by a Doctor of Audiology
  • Hearing Aid Consultation — One-on-one guidance to find the right device for your hearing profile, lifestyle, and budget
  • Prescription and Fitting — Clinical prescription verified with real ear measurement, the gold standard in hearing aid fitting
  • Follow-Up Adjustments — Ongoing fine-tuning as your brain adapts to better hearing
  • Repairs and Maintenance — Support to keep your devices performing at their best

Hearing Aid Price Ranges

Hearing aid prices vary based on technology level, features, and style. At Brilliant Hearing, we carry devices from all major manufacturers and can recommend options across a range of budgets.

  • Essential Technology: Effective amplification for quieter lifestyles
  • Mid-Range Technology: Enhanced features for varied listening environments
  • Premium Technology: Advanced processing for the most demanding situations — restaurants, meetings, music, and more

Every recommendation is matched to your audiogram, your lifestyle, and your budget. We will never push a more expensive device than what you need.

Insurance and Funding Options

Many hearing aid costs can be offset through insurance and government programs:

  • Private Insurance: Most extended health benefit plans cover hearing aids in full or in part. We can provide the documentation your insurer requires.
  • Assistive Devices Program (ADP): The Ontario ADP provides a grant of up to $500 per ear toward hearing aids for eligible adults, once every five years. A valid prescription from a registered audiologist is required. We are registered with the ADP and handle the paperwork.
  • WSIB: Workers’ compensation coverage for occupational hearing loss
  • Veterans Affairs Canada: Coverage for eligible veterans
  • ODSP and Ontario Works: Funding support for qualifying individuals
